# Payzum > Payzum is a non-custodial, crypto-only payment gateway for merchants and developers. Customers pay in crypto or stablecoins (USDC, USDT) and funds settle directly to wallets the merchant controls: Payzum never holds, pools or controls the money. Operated by Vexo International LLC (d/b/a Payzum). Not related to Bizum, Payz or Payzium. Key facts: - Non-custodial: settlement goes straight to the merchant's own wallet; there is no Payzum balance to freeze. - Crypto-only: accepts crypto and settles in crypto, with optional auto-conversion to USDC/USDT for volatility protection. No fiat settlement. - Networks: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain, Avalanche (plus LTC and DOGE for payouts). Typical confirmation: Solana ~0.4s, Base ~2s, Polygon ~2s. - No chargebacks: confirmed on-chain payments are final. - Ways to get paid: payment links and buttons (no code), hosted checkout (redirect, modal or inline), invoices with expiry and overpayment detection, donations/tip jar, recurring subscriptions, in-store POS. - Developers: REST API with API keys, signed webhooks (NOWPayments- and CoinPayments-compatible IPN, so existing plugins drop in), official SDKs for Node.js/TypeScript and PHP, 29 open-source e-commerce plugins on GitHub. - x402: Payzum is the middleware/proxy in front of an existing API (not the facilitator). AI agents pay USDC on Base per call; the provider configures endpoint, API key and price in a dashboard, with no code. - Security: 2FA, signed webhooks, encrypted secrets, full audit log.
